On Monday, I gave Victoria the documents I had brought with me on Friday.
On Tuesday, we started attending the commission together. And for the first time, I visited this special place called the TCC. It may surprise you, but there really was a queue in front of it 🙂 Of course, not all of them were volunteers, I don’t know if there were any volunteers there at all. But there was a queue. Well, I’ll hurry up and dispel the first myth – I wasn’t immediately given combat boots and sent to the trenches.
Sitting in the TCC office, I heard from the TCC staff themselves that contract soldiers have more freedom. That those who are mobilized can really be sent anywhere.
Victoria also gave some advice on working as a clerk. She said that the commander likes brevity and clarity. There is no need to burden him with unnecessary questions. You just need to make every effort to do what he asks.
I realized that what I need is quite good, and there is nothing bad about it. First, I need everything to be done according to the law. That is, if they wrote that I have a contract as a clerk, then that is how it should be. Second, I need to perform my duties as a clerk well so that the management has no complaints. The law and responsibility are very good things.
I also wanted to tell you about my possible partner in training. We went through these commissions together. His name is Vitaly. I was surprised to learn that he had been living abroad for the last six years, but then decided to come to Ukraine and join the Armed Forces. It’s really incredible, at a time when men are dressing up as women and trying to cross the river to escape mobilization, Vitaliy came here on his own. He has a favorite job that he does for a living—he works as a videographer. But he admitted that when he was recently filming various fashion shows, dresses, and other things for work, he felt a kind of emptiness and asked himself, “What am I doing?” So he decided to devote his skills to a more useful cause. Vitaly got a job as a videographer in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Well, I’m glad that I will have such a partner in training.
